Creative Craft Ideas

Name sign

I made a similar sign for my friend's first daughter, and when she was pregnant with her second baby girl, she asked if we could make one for her too!  Here is the final product. We made this sign with foam rectangles you can get at a craft store.  We cut out the letters, and added foam stickers.
Easter Bunny Cake!
I made this Easter cake with 2 round cakes.  I cut out 2 ears, and used the middle for the bowtie, frosted the cake, and sprinkled coconut on it for the "fur".  I added additional decorations, and gum for the teeth!  I think it turned out super cute!

Child's Name Sign:  I created this sign using thin foam, cut out the letters, rectangles and bought some fun foam shapes for the border.  What a great addition to a child's room!

Teacher Crayon Letter Signs:  I created these by cutting new crayons, laying them into a letter shape (printed largely on a paper, and typed their names down the side)  I then glued the crayons and and put it in a shadow box.  I thought they turned out great!  I loved the personalized idea for my kid's teachers.

Lego lamp:  I made this lamp for my son to add to his bedroom which we recently changed to a LEGO decor.  I (and by I, I mean my dad and brother! LOL) drilled a whole down the center of a 4x4 and then I found the circles and a wooden plaque at Michaels.  I painted it, and put a lamp kit in it.  I think it turned out great... especially since I just made it up as I went! I didn't like the lampshade, so I returned it and got a rectangular one, it looks much better! (I will have to get a picture of it now, but he is sleeping right now!)

Drive in Movie Day!  I Gave the kids boxes, and plates, and they created their own "Cars".  I gave them tickets, and they visited the "concession stand".  They loved it, and it added some fun to our afternoon!  They are already asking to do it again!

 Thanksgiving Crafts!

Fingerprint Corn.

We cut out our heads from photos, and made ourselves into Pilgrim Napkin Holders!  I got the idea from here.
